June is Teeth Whitening month. For those who did not know, Dr. Mann was reading the history of The Salvation Army, and came across a quote from the founder, William Booth (from the 1800s) that rings as true today as it did 200 years ago:
“Poor people feel the cold quite as much, if not more, than do rich people. We shall have a wooden floor and the place shall be heated by hot water apparatus. No one gets a blessing if they have cold feet and nobody ever got saved while they had toothache!”
The Campaign for Hope to Raise Funds for a New Raleigh Salvation Army Center
The Salvation Army of Wake County’s Center for Hope Capital Campaign was launched in 2010 to raise $12 million in funds for a larger space. Dr. Ashley Mann, a member of the Advisory Board, has been involved in the planning discussions and continues to raise funds for this worthwhile project.
In continuing these efforts, Dr. Mann and Dr. Dolphi are offering a reduced price on Teeth Whitening this month. Patients will receive a discount and a portion of the proceeds will be dedicated to continue the building of the Center for Hope Dental Clinic for the Salvation Army in Raleigh.
